This article explores T-shaped scaling, "in which the vertical bar of the T refers to scaling deep—akin to the roots of a tree, anchoring solutions within a community—and the horizontal bar of the T denotes scaling wide, propagating verdant practices in new communities." This is the model Mural Arts Philadelphia embraced when it launched the Mural Arts Institute in 2017.
